Crazy About Monochrome

Hey Guys,

Think I'm getting much better at being consistent on the blog. Ive decided to make it a priority again. Blogging for me is not just documenting my daily style but it is therapeutic in a way. I feel  like creative creature who gets to gets to release any stress by being myself in front of a camera and sharing it with you guys once a week. Jen & I started at FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Technology) about 10 months ago and it has been a whirlwind. Studying Fashion Design takes a lot of hard work and dedication. I have had to let go of many things, sacrificing my time all to this course but I must say I totally love it. I have never learnt soo much in such a little time and I cannot wait to start sharing some of our designs on the blog in the near future. We are also thinking of doing posts including us both instead of seperate ones. We look forward to doing that. Wish you all a wonderful week.

Black Rose

I love the idea of pairing such a dark and edgy outfit against a soft and beautiful background. Black is my favourite color but Ive had to discipline myself into adding pops of color to even it out lol. Hope you guys enjoy this look!

Different Shades of Plum

I am so in love with this plum-burgundy color, I decided to style a few pieces in my closet around it. I love the idea of a one-tone outfit and wanted to try it out. I shot these photographs in a beautiful park right in front of my school it actually has a couple of birds nests around it, its so serene during spring time. Animal Infusion

With the unexpected weather change here in LA I have to put a pause on my spring closet and whip out the fur and leather. I have to admit i love the cold weather, and i love layering so this was a guilty pleasure of mine! LA weather has been misleading in the past few days, just when you think summer is here, it shocks you with a freezing cold day. But anyway i cant complain i love fall/winter. The shoes are my favourite in this outfit, it has been difficult to adjust to shopping in LA as most of the high street store exist online!!! lol. I was lucky enough to discover a shoe online store called Shoedazzle which i cant stop shopping from.

       Now that were in spring, the weather pretty much allows us to wear anything.Being in LA, I love that we can layer and dress down, wear prints and colors, the weather is so pretty this time of the year. Christmas In a Little Danish Town

Firstly we would like to apologize for the lack of posts over the past few months, This is as a result of starting Fashion school and an overload of work as well as a broken camera. We have although found a way to balance everything out and make blogging a priority more than often. Over the Christmas Break, we both went to a little Danish Town called "Solvang" with our family. I have to say it reminded me of Wales a little bit. It was a very little town with fireplaces in every home and every coffeehouse. Its entertainment mostly existed of wine and cheese tasting. It was very peaceful and for a moment I felt like I'd been transported into an Enid Blyton children's novel where Christmas was festive and cosy in a surreal sense.

Sorry we haven't done a post in a really long time guys! We've been really lazy to be honest. The weather has been so bad, its been raining everyday so the moment I caught a bit of sunshine today, I was elated and decided to do a post! I was inspired by that cute little vintage car which I usually pass very often when walking past my high street. I went for a 70's look with the bright turtle neck with stripes and a camel skirt. I absolutely love turtle-necks! Was so happy I could match this one with my striped jacket (actually it's Jennifer's jacket! haha!)

Hey Guys!

        Jess and I havent really blogged in a while and I have missed it so much! Besides sorting out our visa and everything a friend of ours recently came to London, we havent gotten to hang out for years so weve just been catching up on absolutely everything! (she's the cute lil thing in the very last photo above).

         Between that, I happened to do a spring cleaning of my closet the other day and found this vintage faux fur jacket i had put away. It quite big but warm enough to snuggle in everytime i wear it, and I'm finding it hard to stop wearing it everyday! haha It is definately my Jacket of the week.
